Harry Shum Jr

I don't know why Harry Shum Jr hasn't been cast as the lead in a romantic comedy. I think he's absolutely fantastic as the warlock Magnus Bane on the Shadowhunters TV series but why is he not in a romantic comedy? Netflix has announced that they are making more rom-coms and I think it would so cool if he was starring in one.
