Comic Book News #16: Captain Marvel, Lois Lane, Power Rangers and Sabrina Spellman

I know it's been a while since I've posted Comic Book News but there is quite a bit of exciting news floating around and I wanted to post it.


- First, it's recently been announced that Brie Larson will appear on Good Morning America next Tuesday (Sept. 18th) not only for an interview but also to reveal the trailer for Captain Marvel. I don't really watch news shows like Good Morning America or Today Show but I might tune into GMA that day to see the interview but if I miss it I know Marvel will put the trailer on YouTube.

- The CW recently announced that actress Elizabeth Tulloch has been cast to play Lois Lane for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover. She is best known for playing Juliette Silverton on the supernatural TV series Grimm. I'm really looking forward to see how she will portray Lois. For anyone interested the crossover begins Sunday, December 9th with The Flash at 8:00 PM.

- Boom! Studios will be publishing a Tommy Oliver (best know as the Green Power Ranger) graphic novel titled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Soul of the Dragon. It will be available in comic books stores Wednesday, December 5th and bookstores Tuesday, December 11th. The story will be written by Kyle Higgins with illustrations by Giuseppe Cafaro along with actor Jason David Frank (who starred as Tommy) as a consultant.

- And last but not least, the teaser trailer for their upcoming TV series, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show which is an adaptation of the comic book series will premiere Friday, October 26th on Netflix.
