Comic Book Wednesday: September 5th Picks

I love that DC Comics brought back Nightwing's black and blue suit because the red and black really didn't work. Which makes me wonder why Tim Drake didn't get his old (pre-New 52) Red Robin costume back instead of the current design that's nothing more than a regular Robin suit with a RR emblem on his chest as a way to differentiate him from Robin. That's so lazy.

Anyway, here is my list. With only three books this may be the shortest list I've had in a long time.

DC Comics

Nightwing #48 (RomitaJr Variant)

Book: Nightwing #48

Description:

Guest-starring the Silencer! Dick Grayson is forced to participate in the world's greatest motorcycle race, a three-day affair hosted on a remote island and populated by the greatest riders on the planet. Nightwing reluctantly complies, but only to save the life of an old friend. That brings him into competition with the Silencer, who's also racing to save a friend. Only one rider can win...so who's gonna leg this one out? That's if they survive the onslaught of super-criminals in the race as well.

IDW Publishing

Ghostbusters Crossing Over #6 (Cover A - Schoening)

Book: Ghostbusters Crossing Over #6

Description:

The Ghostbusters need every missing ghost back to properly recalibrate their rapidly malfunctioning containment unit, and so far, they've recaptured them all! But this time, something stands in their way-and his name is Louis Tully! The Ghostbusters mega crossover event continues here!

Marvel Comics

Book: Captain America #3

WINTER IN AMERICA continues! Cap and the Black Panther embark on a daring raid into the heart of the Nuke army, while Sharon Carter takes on a secret mission into danger!
