From Page to Screen: Godzilla: King of the Monsters

I keep hearing that Godzilla: King of the Monsters is really good which is great to hear since I'm really looking forward to seeing it. However, until then I wanted to let you know there's a novelization for the movie.

With novelizations, do you prefer to read the book before or after seeing the movie? I guess it depends because most of the time I like to read the book after the seeing the movie. But if I missed the movie while it was in theatres, then I'll probably read the book then watch the movie when it's out on DVD/Blu-ray.

Novelization

Book: Godzilla: King of the Monsters Novelization by Greg Keyes

Description:

Godzilla: King of the Monsters follows the heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and its ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance.
