DC Comics
- Tom Welling will reprise his role as Clark Kent/Superman from the Smallville TV series for the upcoming CW Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths. Many fans, myself included were excited for this news but we are also hoping that Erica Durance will be reprising her role as Lois Lane as well.
- Actor and Voice Actor Phil LaMarr will be voicing the character John Stewart/Green Lantern for the animated movie Superman: Red Son. The movie is based on the book of the same title by Mark Miller with illustrations by Kilian Plunkett and Dave Johnson. LaMarr previously provided the voice for John Stewart in the fan favorite Justice League/Justice League Unlimited animated series. Joining him will be: Diedrich Bader, Jason Isaacs, Jim Meskimen, Vanessa Marshall, Phil Morris and more to be announced later.
Dynamite Entertainment
- Dynamite Entertainment will be publishing a Dejah Thoris ongoing series with the first issue available in December. The series will be written by Dan Abnett, illustrations by Vasco Georgiev, colors by Dearbla Kelly and letters by Simon Bowland.
Here is the synopsis for the series:
Barsoom is dying, inching closer to disaster with each passing day. As a scientist, Dejah Thoris must investigate why her homeward is freezing. Her vast skill set will be called upon when she discovers the secrets behind the catastrophe may be hidden by Barsoom’s political factions.
I might have to add this to my pull list because it seems really interesting.

- The company will also publish a new James Bond ongoing series in December. The series will be written by Vita Ayala and Danny Lore, illustrations by Eric Gapstur, color by Roshan Kurichiyanil, letters by Ariana Maher and cover art by Jim Cheung.
I'm not a big James Bond fan but there are a lot out there and I'm sure they will be excited to read this upcoming series.
