The Hardy Boys Fancast: William Brent and Tyrel Jackson Williams

Did you watch Nancy Drew last night? What did you think of it? I will be posting my review soon. Until then, I was thinking that if the new Nancy Drew series is a success that it will lead to The Hardy Boys also getting a series. I've been a fan of both Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys every since I started reading the books which follows the characters solving a variety of mysteries.

I have also watched the old TV series, the first is the 1970s The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries (you can find it on DVD) and the separate 1990s series Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. I bring all of this up because if by chance The Hardy Boys do get a series, I would cast William Brent (Billy Unger) as the older brother Frank and Tyrel Jackson Williams as the younger brother Joe.

After recently rewatching Disney's Lab Rats series, I noticed how great the chemistry was between William and Tyrel as step-brothers Chase Davenport and Leo Dooley. Their performance showed the imperfections and compassion in their deeply hilarious brotherly dynamics. I would love to see them back on screen as the Hardy Boys solving mysteries in most likely a darker themed series.
