I don't know why Guillermo continues to be Nandor's familiar especially since he isn't always treated well. I guess Guillermo is really hoping one day he will become a vampire. So he's willing to put up with all of Nandor's antics. However, if becoming a vampire never happens, he could always become the vampire hunter he was meant to be.
