Comic Book Wednesday: October 7th Picks

Happy Comic Book Wednesday!

It's been a while since I've posted one of these and I'm feeling a little rusty trying to get back into writing about new comics. Well, what new books are you getting? I don't have a lot on my list just four books. From a Halloween Archie comic to Thor, they're books I can't wait to read.

Make sure when you go to the comic book store to wear a mask and social distance. And don't forget to wash your hands when you get home.

Archie Comics

Book: Archie's Halloween Spectacular #1

Description:

Watch out for monsters among us and creatures that go bump in this night in this collection of horrifyingly hilarious Halloween-themed stories!

IDW Publishing

Book: Star Wars adventures #1

Description:

An exciting new era begins! Each issue in this monthly series will feature two stories starring all your favorite Star Wars characters! Between the events of The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, Poe and Finn have taken Rey to a remote planet to continue her Jedi training. But they're surprised to find that the First Order's reach extends far and wide. Plus, an all-new tale of the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader!

Marvel Comics

Book: Miles Morales #19

Description:

EVEN IF MILES LIVES - HE DIES! No one knows the full consequences when worlds collide: Are there aftershocks, echoes, doubles? Miles is already battling a man who shares his name. What does it mean when he finds someone with his face in his family living room? Was this clone made or born? And which Miles will survive this saga?

Book: Thor #8
