Comic Book Wednesday: June 30th Picks

Happy Comic Book Wednesday, I can't believe it's the final day of June. The month just seemed to fly by and we are almost halfway through the year.

Let's not think too far ahead. Not a lot on my list this week, I only have three books: Specter Inspectors, Catwoman and Star Wars. What books are you getting today?

Boom! Studios

Book: Specter Inspectors #5

Description:

Thanks to demons and ghosts, Cape Grace is living up to its reputation as the most haunted town in the USA.

* But now Gus, Ko, Astrid, and Noa are beginning to suspect local clergyman, Father Lucas Von Brandt, and his congregation may not be what they claim to be.

* Can the Specter Inspectors save Cape Grace from itself... without making the ultimate sacrifice?

DC Comics

Book: Catwoman Annual #1

Description:

Father Valley is a mystery. His unusual style as a hit man, his habit of keeping a bible designated for each of his targets, his macabre and particular method of elegant savagery, his insistence on waiting until his target has reached their highest point before he strikes them down-these are all strange and enigmatic traits that have remained unexplained…until now. Bear witness to Father Valley’s past with the Order of St. Dumas, and his unexpected connection with Azrael, to learn the method to of his madness. And see, once and for all, why Catwoman should be deathly afraid of being on his hit list.

IDW Publishing

Book: Star Wars Adventures: Weapon of a Jedi #2 (of 2)

Description:

The Rebel Alliance has destroyed the Empire’s dreaded Death Star, but the Imperial Starfleet continues hunting the rebels throughout the galaxy.
