Entertainment News #3

- The 9-1-1 fifth season will premiere September 20th on FOX and according to reports the firefighters will be dealing with a citywide blackout that will take place over the first three episodes. Which will also include them dealing with escaped zoo animals that are running wild throughout Hollywood Blvd.

I'm not sure what will happen in the fifth season but I do hope that Michael Grant and his boyfriend Dr. David Hale will get more scenes and that Karen Wilson will become a main character. I hope the show will follow through with Carla Price's advice to Eddie Diaz to follow his heart. Because as much as I like Dr. Ana Flore I truly don't believe Eddie's heart is with her. So, until the fifth season premieres, here is the promo poster.

- According to Variety magazine, actress Chloe Bennet, who was to play the live-action grown-up version of The Powerpuff Girls' Blossom, has left the upcoming series on The CW. The show, which is tentatively titled Powerpuff was set to follow Blossom and her two sisters Bubbles and Buttercup as adults (played by Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault) who return to crime-fighting after trying to leave their superhero childhood behind them. So far there has been no official statement as to why Bennet has departed the series.

- Slightly disappointing news, Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been delayed again from the movie's second release date of September 24th release date. It will now be in theatres on October 15th, the same day as Halloween Kills and The Last Duel

- The new Amazon Prime TV series I Know What You Did Last Summer will premieres on October 15th. I love watching the 90s movies, I Know What You Did Last Summer (which was based on the same titled book by Lois Duncan) and the sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

And since I'm a fan of this franchise, I might check out this upcoming TV series to see how it's going to be. According to the showrunner Sara Goodman, “Every episode has a different point of view of what happened that night, before the accident. It will make it much harder to figure out who’s after them.
