One of my favorite things about reading is enjoying different types of fictional stories and learning new information in non-fiction books. Another thing is the underrated aspect of book clubs as a low stress socialization option for introverts. Joining a book club whether in person or online is a great way to meet new people while also finding different books to read.
Another aspect of reading I enjoy, is the solitude. Even after months of staying at home during the pandemic, I find it important to spend quality time alone. And immersing myself in a good book while embracing the solitude is another one of my favorite things about reading.
