Happy 9-1-1 Monday!
Tonight is season finale for both 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star. Also, congratulations on both shows getting renewed for another season. Anyway back to tonight's episodes. I have absolutely no expectations for either show, I'm just hoping they will be good. A few things, I do hope that might happen for both shows are:
9-1-1:
- That Captain Robert "Bobby" Nash will not be injured but if he does it's not something that's really bad.
- Henrietta "Hen" Wilson and Howard "Chimney" Han will be congratulated as heroes (and given an award) for stopping Jonah Greenway.
- Evan "Buck" Buckley and Taylor Kelly finally breaking up. That terrible relationship has been dragged out all season and their break up has been hinted at least three times this season. It's really time for it to end.
- Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz and Buck realizing either separately or together that they are interested in each other romantically (it would be nice if this happened at some point in the series).
- Chimney and Maddie Buckley will start to reconnect which will lead to them getting back together either in the finale or next season.
- I hope May Grant's decison is her deciding to go to college and maybe working at 9-1-1 dispatch part-time.
- Lucy Donato will leave the show but if they do bring the character back next season put her at another fire station. They could send Lucy over to the 133 since the station will be down two employee since Albert Han was planning to quit and Jonah was arrested for harming and killing people on emergency calls.
- I noticed that when Taylor was so quick to report on what she had found out (from all the "off the record" information she got from Hen and Chim) about Jonah, that she forgot to mention that he was an "alleged" serial killer. Not to mention the banner onscreen also didn't include the word alleged when it stated "Paramedic Serial Killer Captured". I have a feeling that's going to backfire on Taylor with possibly her and Channel 8 News being sued. This may also result in Jonah's legal defense using it and he ends up going free on a technicality.
9-1-1: Lone Star
- TK Strand and Carlos Reyes getting engaged or at least talking about the possibility of it.
- That Captain Owen Strand doesn't die but he'll have to deal with a few injuries.
- Paul Strickland will get more screentime. Aside from the storyline about his heart issue earlier in the season, the writers haven't given him anything else to work with.
- Marjan Marwani is another that I hope will to get a more screentime and storyline. If not in the finale then next season for sure.
- I really don't want to see any more of the "romance" between Captain Tommy Vega and her late husband's brother Julius and whatever decision they have is simply that it's over.
- I'm sure Judd Ryder will be rescued but I hope it doesn't result in even more injuries since he was already healing from breaking his leg in a previous episode.
Whether any of these things happen tonight, I'm still looking forward to watching both season finale episodes.
