What are your thoughts on the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy?

Now that Star Wars Celebration is over, I was wondering what you think of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy? It really doesn't seem like anyone talks about those movies at all. I'll admit I haven't seen the Sequel Trilogy is quite a while but whenever I think about these movie, all I can think of is wasted potential. To me this trilogy failed to tell a good story, nothing really felt thought out with the story or with the characters. You can tell there was no plan in creating this trilogy which is why none of the films feel connected.

As much as I like Finn, Rey and Poe, they had no real character development, there was nothing that changed about them throughout all three movies. Finn was truly sidelined and Rey's journey felt extremely monotonous and was a rehash of Luke and Anakin Skywalker's stories.

As a Star Wars fan, I think the Sequel Trilogy were okay movies (and I still sort of love them for simply being part of the Star Wars story) and I'll still rewatch them but they are definitely at the bottom of my rewatch list.
