Fashion Meets Comics: Sabrina Spellman

I've been rewatching Sabrina: The Teenage Witch and it's hard not to notice all the cute clothes that Sabrina Spellman wore. So in between casting spells that tend to go awry to trying to deal with high school, college and life in general, Sabrina's wardrobe was cute and stylish. I like that there were trendy pieces mixed in with classic ones which created a fun style that perfectly represented Sabrina.

An outfit that I like is this purple turtleneck paired with a multi print mini skirt. I really love the print and silhouette of this skirt, sometimes something simple makes the biggest statement. This is such a cute look but when Sabrina wore it, it was during the fall and she wore tights with it. For this Fashion Meets Comics, I wanted to make it a more summery look.

So, instead of going with a turtleneck, I found a crew neck baby tee and paired it with a multi color floral print mini skirt. I think it still has a similar look but with an effortless summer feel. With the skirt's bright colors it give the look a fun vibe that's balanced by the classic style of the baby tee. Since this has a slightly more casual feel than the original look, you can add a blazer to make it more polished.
