Characters Reading: Rory Gilmore

In the first season episode P.S. I Lo..., Rory Gilmore was reading Ulysses by James Joyce. She was sitting outside Doose’s Market reading while she waited for her best friend Lane Kim who went into the store. Although it wasn't mentioned, I'm sure since Rory was trying to avoid her ex-boyfriend Dean Forester who worked at Doose's Market, she must have asked Lane if she could go into the store for her and buy the few things that she needed.

As for the book that Rory's reading, I've never read Ulysses but I've heard it's an interesting read. I think I'll add it to my list.
