(9-1-1 season 2 episode 15: Ocean's 9-1-1)
In that scene, she was at her friend Police Sergeant Athena Grant's house and they were trying to figure out the case of the bank heist. Because $300,000 was stolen from an armored truck that was parked outside the bank and the money had been found on the 118's ladder fire truck. And although all of the firefighters from the 118 were being investigated (along with Athena, Athena's ex-husband Michael Grant and 9-1-1 Dispatcher Maddie Buckley) unfortunately for Hen, the Police (or were they FBI) Detectives seemed to believe that she (and an accomplish) were behind not only that theft. But also that she was involved when $6 million worth of diamonds were stolen from one of the safety deposit boxes inside the vault that she had been trapped in. So of course she wants to prove her innocence and who better to bounce ideas off of than Athena.
For a mini costume analysis, the distressed or frayed parts on Hen's jacket went perfectly with the scene because she was understandably stressed over the fact that the police (or FBI) seem to be focusing on her when she had nothing to do with any of the thefts that occured. I know Athena told her to trust the system and the police will find the truth. But can you blame Hen for feeling stressed because unfortuantely it's been shown in various media and in real life that the some police officers and detectives have tunnel vision and will only focus their attention on who they think is guilty instead of looking for more evidence. And even in Hen's case when the detectives found more evidence they still didn't want to stop focusing on her. She probably felt like her life was unraveling and it wouldn't feel right until she cleared her name.

Anyway, back to this denim jacket which is a fashion staple that never goes out of style. I really like Hen's jacket, the light wash of this classic cut coupled with a little bit of wear and tear or distressing gives it a really relaxed and casual feel. Hen paired her jacket with an ombre t-shirt and black pants. But this denim jacket could go with just about anything you wear with it.
To get the look, I found six denim jackets that have a similiar look and feel as Hen's jacket. Two even have a bit of distressing on them but I figure you could also get one that doesn't have any and let the wear and tear happen over time. Or you could even speed up the process and distress it yourself.
