For some reason, it feels like it's been longer than two weeks since the last new episode of 9-1-1 aired. Two weeks ago, the episode Tomorrow aired and it was fantastic seeing the backstory of how Henrietta "Hen" Wilson and her wife Dr. Karen Wilson met and how they adopted their son Denny. While also seeing the current story of the firefighters trying to rescue people including Karen from a lab explosion. This was a really good episode.
As for tonight's episode Cursed, I really have no expectations, I'm just hoping it will be another good (and possibly funny) episode. From the trailer, it feels like a deadlier 2.0 version of the fourth season episode Jinx. And I'm sure Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz is probably still a skeptic not believing any of this cursed stuff while Howard "Chimney" Han's strong belief in curses, hexes and jinxes will continue to be fun to watch.
