By the third season, Chimney's younger brother Albert showed up from South Korea unannounced on Chimney's birthday. With no plans to return, he was now living with Chimney and wearing out his welcome as well by bringing women back to Chimney's place and hooking up with them. Unlike Buck, Chimney couldn't just put Albert out because he had nowhere else to go that is until the beginning of the fourth season once Maddie (who was pregnant) moved in with Chimney unfortunately during the pandemic. So while Chimney was quarantining at Buck's apartment, Albert was still living at Chimney's apartment until Chimney moved back in and Albert moved in with Buck.
That is until Albert got injured when his car was hit by a drunk driver and he was back living with Chimney and Maddie while he recuperated. But since he needed constant care, Albert would eventually move in with Chimney's surrogate family Anne and john Lee. That is until the fifth season when Chimney left to go find Maddie and Albert moved back into Chimney's apartment until his big brother returned. And once Chimney did, they were back to being roommates again. That is until the sixth season where it has yet to be explained where Albert is since he obviously moved out (since Maddie moved back in) but there has been no mention as to where. Which I hope will be answered in the second half of the sixth season, since it's been announced that John Harlan Kim who plays Albert will be returning for a guest appearance. All of this is to say that despite what Chimney said, Albert's stay wasn't as temporary as Buck's was.
Buck: How come you never set the place up so nice when me and Albert did our stints here?
Chimney: Because I wanted you to leave.
