Teaser Trailer for the second half of 9-1-1's sixth season

The new teaser trailer for 9-1-1's second half of the sixth season was released yesterday. The lightning storm in the trailer looks interesting. There's a clip in the trailer that shows Evan "Buck" Buckley at the top of a ladder and it looks like he may get electrocuted. And if that's the case, then he really doesn't have a lot of good luck around fire trucks especially ladder trucks. He was nearly injured when the ladder broke during an emergency rescue in the episode Broken (season 2 episode 14) and his leg was crushed when a ladder truck fell on his leg after an explosion in the episode The Life We Choose (season 2 episode 18). And if he gets electrocuted and falls off the truck then he might want to start taking more precaution when working on the ladder truck.

It also looks like another firefighter may be electrocuted as well. It looks like it might be Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz but since he was injured at the end of the fourth season and dealt with his mental health in the fifth season. I don't see him being injured again by being electrocuted. But I was totally wrong thinking the writers wouldn't be so repetitive by making the newly hired 9-1-1 dispatcher, Noah Carmack the "bad" guy in episode Home Invasion (season 6 episode 5) after doing something similar the previous season with paramedic and firefighter Jonah Greenway in the episode Hero Complex (season 5 episode 17). You can read my thought's on Noah here.

Anyway, I just hope the remainder of the sixth season will be good because despite a few good episodes and moments the first half was very lackluster. It's the writing that really needs to improve. Because the main actors can definitely carry any scene whether it's humorous or emotional, it's just the writing that hasn't been delivering.
