I was wondering if there are any shows you've been rewatching? I've been rewatching A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. I bought the DVDs a few weeks ago and finally found time to start watching the first season and so far I've only rewatched the first five episodes. I forgot how much really loved this little series. A Pup Named Scooby-Doo originally aired from 1988-1991 for four seasons. It's a fun and adorable addition to the Scooby-Doo franchise that centered around the younger versions of the iconic mystery solving characters.
What I like about this series is the little changes to the characters yet they are still somewhat the same. For instance, gone is the usual practical Fred "Freddy" Jones because in this series, he's obsessed with weird alien conspiracies and thinking the neighborhood bully Red Herring is the person behind most if not all of their mysteries. But he still has the same interest in wanting to solve mysteries and having his friends split up while investigating.
As for Velma Dinkley, she's small, quiet, moves fast and rarely talks but is still very observant and intelligent. While Daphne Blake underwent the most changes, she's a skeptical snob who doesn't want to get her boots dirty. This version of Fred and Daphne feel like early concepts of The X-Files Fox Mulder (obsessed with conspiracies) and Dr. Dana Scully (skeptical). The only ones who didn't receive any changes were Norville "Shaggy" Rogers and Scooby-Doo who are pretty much the same characters throughout the Scooby-Doo franchise.
If I have some time today, I'm going to watch some more episodes. It has been a while since I've watched this show.
