- Apparently this is sort of old news but I didn't hear about until now but according to reports, Mark Hamill has decided no longer voice The Joker. He doesn’t want to voice the role without Kevin Conroy, he stated: “Without Batman, crime has no punchline.” I figured he would retire from voicing The Joker at some point and since the late Kevin Conroy is no longer here, it's perfectly understandable why he would no longer want to continue on.
- According to reports, The Emmy Awards has decided not to present the Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series/Special Award during the primetime Emmy telecast which will air January 15, 2024. The WGA (Writers Guild of America) released a statement in regards to this issue, here is a qhote from it: We didn't spend months on strike, fighting to receive the recognition we deserve for the work we help create, only to be pushed to the sidelines when it comes time to do exactly that. They are hoping The Emmy Awards will rethink its plan while also hoping that if enough people contact them through social media that will help influence The Emmy Awards to rethink its plan. To me, it makes no sense to not televise this award. And by not doing that it makes it seem as if writing isn't important which it is.
- Good news for fans (such as myself) of new shows The Irrational and Found. Although the first seasons for both shows are currently airing, NBC has renewed the shows for a second season. I have to say that I've been enjoying watching both shows. Both shows have four episodes left of the first season. Found will air new episodes on Tuesdays until December 12, then return on January 9, 2024 with the final two episodes of the season. The remining episodes of The Irrational will begin airing Monday, January 29.
