Anyway, I feel like 9-1-1: Lone Star could use a little more appreciation. I really like this show, it has a good blend of action, drama and comedy along with a lot of heart. Yes, at time it can be zany. Such as in this Most Memorable Scene from the episode Cry Wolf (season 4 episode 3), when the 126 firefighters and paramedics rescued and provided medical care to a sex doll that had fallen over a cliff. The doll belonged to a guy who had mental issues and he was very distraught due to the doll falling or as he said jumping over the cliff. But the thing is the 126 still went through the process of doing their jobs despite the situation. Because to that guy, the doll was a real person, and they were there to help. And in this case, helping a guy fully let go of his "girlfriend" and move on with his life.
Not to go unnoticed is that this is all taking place while police officer Carlos Reyes' wife (on paper) Iris Blake had gone missing. So he showed up at the scene believing that the "woman" who went over the cliff may have been Iris. It's a good thing Detective Grier showed up to the scene or Carlos would have let his emotions cause him to do something he would regret. Because abusing your power of authority is never a good thing especially in his line of work.
