- Some good news for Avatar: The Last Airbender fans, Netflix has renewed the live action TV series for a second and third season. The series will end with the third season, which follows the same format as the animated version. According to Netflix, the show had 41.1 million views in the first 11 days of its premiere as well as being the #1 show in 76 countries.
The first season of the live action series followed Avatar Aang and his friends Katara and Sokka on their journey in order for Aang to learn the last three elements (Water, Earth and Fire) so he can fully become The Avatar. I really enjoyed the first season, there's not much I would change except for finding a way to bring Momo back. I'm looking forward to seeing how they will adapt the last two seasons.
- Actor Kristian Nairn is publishing an autobiography titled Beyond The Throne: Epic Journeys, Enduring Friendships, and Surprising Tales. It will be available Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Kristian is best know for his roles in the popular TV series Game of Thrones and Our Flag Means Death.

- The cast and crew of 9-1-1 celebrated the show reaching its 100th episode. I think it's wonderful when a show can reach this milestone especially with the current state of TV.

- Actress Ming-Na Wen will star in the upcoming new Karate Kid movie which will also star Ralph Macchio (the original Karate Kid) and Jackie Chan (who starred in the 2010 remake of The Karate Kid). The new Karate Kid will be played by Ben Wang.
