Why is someone leaking information about 9-1-1's seventh season?

Last Thursday, I wrote that there was someone allegedly leaking confidential material about the 9-1-1 TV series' seventh season. And so far, there continues to be more leaks of pictures and information.

I'm on the fence on whether this is a disgruntled employee who is upset that Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz and Evan "Buck" Buckley (or Buddie) are not going canon. And is leaking confidential material to let fans know because the show is baiting Buddie fans. Or it's someone who hates Buddie and their fans and is gleefully leaking information to pour salt in the wounds and rubbing it in that Buddie doesn't go canon. Because why have the leaks only been about Buck and Eddie? Why have there been no leaks about anything else happening this season? Why are there no leaks about Maddie Buckley and Howard "Chimney" Han's wedding? Why are there no leaks about Henrietta "Hen" and Dr. Karen Wilson? Why are there no leaks about Athena Grant and Robert "Bobby" Nash? Again, why so many leaks about Eddie and Buck?

Regardless of this person's reasons or intentions for continuing to leak confidential material, it's disappointing if it's true that 9-1-1 (and ABC) would choose yet again not to give Buck and Eddie a chance to go canon. Especially since the entertainment journalists were writing all these various articles about Buck and Eddie and many of the articles even stated in the headlines that this is the season they go canon. Or it's leading to romance between the two of them. So, if 9-1-1 and ABC were well aware that they had no intentions yet again of making Buck and Eddie canon, why not contact these entertainment sites and have them issue a correction about those articles? Because with each article that was being released it added more fuel to the fire that had Buddie fans even more optimist and excited about the growing possibility that Buck and Eddie will finally go canon.

If the leaks turn out to be true, it's just disappointing because why continue to waste all this amazing chemistry between Eddie and Buck. Along with the beautiful story and connection that has been building between them that could easily transition from friendship to romance. If by some chance the leaks aren't true and there is a big surprise at the end of the season that either shows Buck and Eddie showing romantic interest in each other or possibly going on a date. Then I will gladly appologize for not believing that the Showrunner and writers wouldn't follow through with how they have been writing Eddie and Buck's relationship. I guess until then, I'll try not to let all these leaks completely dampen my interest in this season.
