Did 9-1-1 bait Buck and Eddie fans with the Karaoke scene promotion?

The 9-1-1 fandom is not happy specifically the Evan "Buck" Buckley and Edmundo "Eddie" Diaz (Buddie) fandom. The much anticipated bachelor party Karaoke scene has been cut from tonight's episode, There Goes The Groom. And there is a strong possibility that other Buck and Eddie scenes have been cut as well. It's so disappointing because just when the show is set to return it was announced in an interview with actor Kenneth Choi (who plays Chimney) that the Buck and Eddie Karaoke scene was cut along with an additional 30 minutes of other scenes from the episode. He said the episode would have been over an hour. Which means the show had enough material for a two episode wedding event. So, instead of cutting so much just to shrink it down to 42 minutes they could have truly created something special for the characters.

I know this episode is about Maddie Buckley and Howard "Chimney" Han getting married, which I was already excited for. However, the problem is the main promotion for three weeks had been centered around Buck and Eddie, the bachelor party and the Karaoke scenes. The show had been promoting the Buck and Eddie scenes all during the hiatus to keep viewers interested in the wedding episode. Fans (myself included) have been waiting to see the Buddie Karaoke scene especially since it's been hyped up by the promotion and the interviews.

I don't know if the Buddie Karaoke and possibly other Buck and Eddie scenes were truly cut for time or they simply used it to tease and bait the fans? If they wanted the attention to be focused on Chimney and Maddie then shouldn't they have centered the promotion on them and not Eddie and Buck. Now it just feels like nothing more than them continuing to bait the Buddie fans. But what I found interesting is that fans have been voicing their complaints online and throughout social media as well as on the show's social media accounts. It's been six seasons of this show baiting Buddie fans and the fans are tired of it.

I will continue to say that if the show hadn't wasted the first three episodes on the cruise ship disaster (that should have been 1 or 2 episodes at most). Then they would have had more time (and episodes) for the wedding. And they also wouldn't have to had baited Buddie fans in the process.
