Trailer: Lady in the Lake

I have another new show Lady in the Lake to add to my ever growing Summer Hiatus list. Lady in the Lake is a seven episode miniseries that's based on the book of the same name written by Laura Lippman. This looks really interesting and the trailer makes me think that Maddie Schwartz is going to become obsessed with trying to solve the murder of Cleo Johnson.

Prior to re-establishing her aspirations as a writer, Maddie's life seemed so stagnant and unhappy. Hopefully, going after her dreams will help her get that spark back in her life. As for Cleo, it seems like she might have found herself in a situation that unfortunately lead to her murder. It will be interesting to see if her murder will be solved because odds are the police weren't really working that hard to try to solve it.

I can't wait to start watching this. So far, the first three episode have already aired. The remainder of the episodes will be released every Friday with the last airing on August 23rd.
