Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Although, I've gotten a little behind in posting, I still wanted to post Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Throughout the month of May, we celebrate and recognize the history, culture, achievements, contributions and influence of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islander Americans.

To learn more about the history, culture and stories of these amazing communities there are array of books you can read. From informative nonfiction to fiction, take the time to learn more and maybe even find your new favorite writers and authors. I found the Claudia Lin mystery series by Jane Pek that I want to read as well as the book House of Monstrous Women by Daphne Fama (which unfortunately isn't available until August 12th).

So with that said, Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
