Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Although, I've gotten a little behind in posting, I still wanted to post Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Throughout the month of May, we celebrate and recognize the history, culture, achievements, contributions and influence of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islander Americans.

To learn more about the history, culture and stories of these amazing communities there are array of books you can read. From informative nonfiction to fiction, take the time to learn more and maybe even find your new favorite writers and authors. I found the Claudia Lin mystery series by Jane Pek that I want to read as well as the book House of Monstrous Women by Daphne Fama (which unfortunately isn't available until August 12th).

So with that said, Happy Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Happy Belated Autism Acceptance Month!

I didn't realize I had not posted anything for Autism Acceptance Month which was last month, April. So I'm posting it now. It's never to late to show love, kindness and support.

Autism Acceptance Month was created to recognize the talents, contributions and diversity within the Autism community. It also celebrates and honors the experiences and identities of Autistic individuals. It emphasizes understanding, inclusion and support, moving beyond awareness towards meaningful acceptance.

Happy Autism Acceptance Month!

Entertainment News #45: Station 19 100th Episode and a PBS Documentary and New Show

- The cast and crew for Station 19 are celebrating the show's 100th episode. In a surprising announcement, ABC publicity posted on Instagram this message and two pictures: “The cast, crew and creative teams behind @station19 gathered on set today to commemorate 100 episodes of the high-action drama with a cake-cutting celebration! The new season premieres Thursday, March 14 on @abcnetwork and streams next day on @hulu!”

This feels like a bittersweet moment for the cast and crew. Instead of fully being able to celebrate reaching such an entertainment milestone they have to deal with the unfortunate fact their show was unexpectedly cancelled. Which is why the fans are trying so hard to try to save the show. I want to congratulate the Station 19 cast and crew for reaching 100 episodes, not a lot of shows, especially now, ever achieve that.
