Today is Día de los Muertos, it's a two-day Mexican (Mexican American) holiday where people celebrate and honor their family and friends who have died. It's a way to remember them and celebrate all that they were. What I found so interesting about this holiday is that they set up an altar (which includes some of the deceased favorite foods and items) so that the cherished and honored spirits can find their way back to their family and friends. That's so sweet and wonderful.
