Happy Mother's Day! (+ a Geeky TV/Movie List)

I want to wish all the moms and caregivers a very Happy Mother's Day and even more so for those who can not spend the day with their mother. So take the time and enjoy the day. I also posted a small Mother's Day list of some fun episodes you might want to watch.

Happy Día de los Muertos (+ a Geeky TV/Movie List)

Today is Día de los Muertos, it's a two-day Mexican (Mexican American) holiday where people celebrate and honor their family and friends who have died. It's a way to remember them and celebrate all that they were. What I found so interesting about this holiday is that they set up an altar (which includes some of the deceased favorite foods and items) so that the cherished and honored spirits can find their way back to their family and friends. That's so sweet and wonderful.

Below is a small geeky holiday list of episodes and movies that celebrates or features Día de los Muertos. So with that said, I want to wish all who are celebrating, a very Happy Día de los Muertos! May your days of celebrating be filled with love, happiness, good food and loving memories.
