I believe Connor may be even better at archery than his father Oliver Queen. I really can't stand how they keep whitewashing the character. Is it so hard to believe that this is Oliver's son?

Book Review: Green Arrow vol #2

Review:

I thought this was good but what I liked the most were all the interactions between the characters. From Oliver's love for Dinah (Black Canary) to being a father to his son Connor Hawke (the other Green Arrow) and trying to be a good mentor for Mia Dearden. And not to mention Hawkman, Ollie and Carter never really seem to get along.

In this group of stories, while Oliver was trying to get used to being back from the dead (you know characters never stay dead) he had to cope with trying to dissuade Mia from wanting to go into the superhero business, reuniting with Dinah and Connor and trying to stop a crazed killer who was going after superheroes.

For these stories, I thought the writing was okay the interactions saved it and the artwork was also just okay. This was good just not as good as other Green Arrow stories I've read prior to this (excluding the New 52).

Are You Ready for Wally West (The Flash)'s Debut in the New 52?

Wally West is finally going to be in the New 52. He will be re-introduced in The Flash Annual #3 (the picture cover above) that will be out April 30th. That's not the only new changes, new writers to The Flash series will be Robert Venditti and Van Jensen with artwork by Brett Booth.

Wally West has been one of the characters that had been shelved for DC Comics New 52, fans had been asking for the return of Wally for some time now. Hopefully, his return won't be another poorly written character. He's a fan favorite, so let's hope DC does a good with his return.

I will be picking up The Flash Annual #3, I hope the new 52 Wally West will be an interesting character. Right now, I'm not really sure how I feel about the blue costume but I'll see if it's a good change when I read the issue.

Side note:

Connor Hawke (Green Arrow) will also be returning to new 52 in the Earth 2 issue #20 which is out today. I'm glade he's back but the only problem is, he's been white washed (again), why couldn't he just be Roy Harper instead of giving him another characters name. Okay my rant is over :)

As the son of Oliver Queen, Connor had taken over as Green Arrow when Ollie was believed to be dead. So far Connor has yet to been seen during the new 52 and continues to be another shelved character.
