My only plan this weekend, is to get cozy and comfy on the sofa and watch some new shows I've been planning to watch and to get caught up on some of my regular shows. And in between lounging all day, I'm going to have some of my favorite snacks, then later lunch and dinner. I might take a few breaks but for the most part I'm doing nothing else all weekend except for relaxing. The list of new shows I want to watch are:
- R.J. Decker
- The 'Burbs
- The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins
- Young Sherlock
And the shows I need to get caught up on the current seasons are:
- Abbott Elementary
- Animal Control
- Elsbeth
- Going Dutch
- High Potential
- The Rookie
I'm going to try to see how many of these shows I can watch or get caught up on. And if I have enough time this weekend rewatch for Heated Rivalry (it's been a while since I've watched the show). As well as rewatch the 9-1-1 episode Mother's Boy (season 9 episode 13). Since I have a lot of shows to watch, I'm going to get started right after I post this.
With so many shows on tonight, I will definitely be taping half of them to watch later. I just need to figure out which ones. However, before I watch anything tonight, I'm going to read a few pages of Murder is Binding by Lorna Barrett. I'm nearly finished with this book, so I should have my review up soon.

Tonight's Thursday night lineup has comedy, mystery and drama. With the way Matlock is going, I'm trying to figure out how the season will end. But until then, it's interesting to see how Matty continues her use of subterfuge. For Animal Control, I can't believe Frank and Victoria are going to throw a party in Fiona's house. I can't see this ending well for them. As for the rest of the line up, they all seem like really good episodes.

The Holiday episodes continue with two back-to-back episodes of Ghosts. It looks like things are not going smoothly at the inn with Jay's family visiting. And I'm sure the ghosts will be up to their usual wackiness. There's also a new episode of Elsbeth which will have Elsbeth Tascioni investigating the murder of a Showrunner of a TV series. I just love how observant Elsbeth is and how she picks up on clues.

I took a couple of days off to unplug which gave me plenty of time to catch up on my reading. But tonight I'm watching new episodes of: Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Ghosts, Matlock and Elsbeth. I really loved watching all last week's episodes. I do want to point out that in last week's episode of Matlock, I know Matty has a plan but too bad it came at the expense of a young woman who had been hurt by a big pharmaceutical company's drug trial and had been seeking the truth. I hope this will all be worth it for Matty when it's all over.

Georgie worries that he's leaving Connor out of his new project with Jim. Meanwhile, Mandy and Audrey struggle to decorate CeeCee's nursery without fighting.
The Thursday night CBS lineup is back with new episodes: Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Ghosts, Matlock and Elsbeth.
For Georgie & Mandy, is Georgie using the excuse of trying to sell tires as the reason he wants to go to church, Mandy seems to think so. As for Ghosts, Sam needs to provide proof of her information for her biography on Isaac. Since her proof is information she got from Isaac, I doubt saying a ghost is her main source of information is going to go well.
And finally is Matlock and Elsbeth, both show have holiday episodes. On Matlock, I wonder what the secret about Julian is? And will it change things between the newly reconciled Olympia and Julian? And on Elsbeth, there is a holiday murder mystery that Elsbeth will try to solve.

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 1 episode 6: A Regular Samaritan 8:00 PM EST CBS

Georgie joins a church to sell tires to the congregation and Mandy worries there is more to it than that.
Thursday is a busy night of TV with eight shows on. For 9-1-1, I'm happy Buck's relationship with his latest bland and boring love interest is over. I hope the writers will finally let him figure out why he keeps quickly jumping into relationships especially since it wasn't that long before his relationship with Natalia ended and then he started dating Tommy. Buck truly needs to take some time being single and then hopefully he will realize the love he's been searching for is with Eddie. Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage is a Thanksgiving episode that has the family celebrating the holiday. I'm sure it's going to be a little bittersweet but also have plenty of humor.
With Ghosts, Sam is going to audition for a play after getting some ghostly help from Alberta. This seems like it's going to be a fun episode. Doctor Odyssey has another themed week as well as the Captain's brother will be visiting. I'm still trying to give this show a chance. For some reason, I'm still not quite being drawn into the story and the characters. Something just feels off with the story, maybe there's a reason for that, I don't know. Something's just not connecting, there's a fan theory that this is all a dream. And at times it feels like it.
On Matlock, Matty is furthering her secret investigation but I think the stress is starting to get to her. There's a lot involved with her living a double life. Elsbeth continues to be fun mystery series, it's a joy to watch. As for Found, with Sir out of the basement it added an interesting dynamic to the show. It's that added stress knowing he's out there. And finally with Grey's Anatomy, a bad car accident might end up killing Mika (I hope not). I do wonder what Levi is going to ask James? They haven't been dating that long, I can't image Levi asking him to go with him to Texas. I guess we will see.

With eight shows on my Thursday line up, I'm thinking of tapping 9-1-1 and watching Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage and Ghosts. At nine, I'll watch Matlock and tape Doctor Odyssey. However, at ten, I'm not sure which of the three shows to watch and tape. What are you watching tonight?

Happy Halloween! What are you watching tonight? So, in between watching scary movies, I will be watching some of my Thursday lineup. Since ABC is only airing repeats of Doctor Odyssey, I'll just focus on my other shows: Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Ghosts, Matlock, Elsbeth and Found.
Although, Ghosts and Elsbeth are the only two shows with Halloween episodes, I can't wait to watch other shows as well.

The 118 is once again working on the spookiest night of the year and missing out on all the tricks and treats. Buck's Halloween decorations become a little scarier than he had hoped.
Elsbeth has quickly become one of my favorite shows. It has interesting mysteries, quirky characters and the format is very much an interesting take on the classic TV series, Columbo. Something else I find interesting is Elsbeth Tascioni's wardrobe. It's filled with bright colors, patterns and prints in various combinations to create Elsbeth's unique sense of style. Her wardrobe is very creative and cheerful to look at on-screen.
I'm planning on creating a Fashion Meets Fandom post for Elsbeth Tascioni but until then here's a video of the show's Costume Designer Dan Lawson. This is the first of I hope of many videos of Dan Lawson talking about his favorite outfits from each episode in the second season.
His favorite outfit that Elsbeth wore in the season two premiere episode Subscription for Murder, was a L'Agence pink and white print jacket and a bright pink blouse from Generation Love. In the episode, the jacket and top were paired with black pants which allowed the bright colors to stand out.
Wow, tonight is going to be a very busy Thursday night with eight shows: 9-1-1, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Ghosts, Doctor Odyssey, Matlock, Elsbeth, Found and Grey's Anatomy. I'm definitely taping a lot of these shows to watch later.

9-1-1 season 8 episode 4: No Place Like Home 8:00 PM EST ABC

When it finally looks like Hen and Karen may get their foster license back, they are hit with another obstacle. the 118 races to the aid of a cheerleader involved in an infield collision.
I have been waiting for the return of Elsbeth, I just have to wait one more month until then. I just love this show, it follows Elsbeth Tascioni, a wacky and inquisitive lawyer (with an equally wacky wardrobe) who moved to New York City for a job to monitor (investigate) Captain Charles Wagner and the officers at their NYC precinct. And while she was doing that, she was also helping (whether they wanted her to or not) to solve a lot of very interesting cases with Police Officer (and aspiring Detective) Kaya Blanke.
By the end of the first season after Elsbeth's investigation had ended, she was let go from her job, however, she was offered a new job I believe by Captain Wagner to investigate corruption within the department. And of course she's going to continue solving cases.
Looking at the trailer, the second season looks like it's going to bring even more interesting cases and more of Elsbeth's wacky fashion. This looks like it's going to be a good season, I can't wait to see it. The second season of Elsbeth will premiere on Thursday, October 17 at 10:00 PM EST on CBS.
- The Celebrity Family Feud season 10 episode 8: Fantasy Sweets vs Golden Five and 9-1-1 vs Jury Duty will be airing Monday, September 16th at 8:00 PM EST on ABC.
The 9-1-1 cast will be: Aisha Hinds, Tracie Thoms, Ryan Guzman, Oliver Stark and Bryan Safi. The Jury Duty cast will be: Maria Russell, Susan Berger, Cassandra Blair, Edy Modica, Ronald Gladden and David Brown. I wonder why Jury Duty has six contestants while 9-1-1 has five? That's really interesting, regardless, I'll be tuning in.
Since 9-1-1 was moved to Thursday night I've gotten so used to taping it then watching it later. So, I figured I would continue with my routine. Tonight I'll watch Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Elsbeth and then Station 19.
I just got caught up with Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and I can't wait to watch the new episode. I have some questions about Bloody Rose and I'm hoping by end of the season they will be answered. As for Elsbeth, it's been moved up an hour (airing at 9:00 PM) and tonight's eisode is the season finale. The mystery centers around the world of fashion when a fashion photographer is murdered. And last is Station 19 and the firefighters are dealing with a big wildfire that not only could put the city at risk but themselves as well.

Prety Litle Liars: Summer School season 2 episode 4: When a Stranger Calls Back HBO MAX

It's just my usual line up: Young Sheldon, 9-1-1, So Help Me Todd, Elsbeth and Station 19. It's the series finale for both Young Sheldon and So Help Me Todd. While Young Sheldon is getting a proper send off to close out the series, So Help Me Todd was cancelled. So tonight's season finale in now the series finale. It feels so bittersweet to say to goodbye to both of these shows. Young Sheldon is going to be an emotional ending and according to reports So Help Me Todd is ending with a cliffhanger since they were not expecting the show to get cancelled. Anyway, I can't wait to watch both shows.
Before I start talking about 9-1-1, I wanted to say how sad it is to hear that a crew member, Richard "Rico: Priema, died in a car accident after working a 14 hour shift. No one should be working that many hours and then driving home. If someone has to work that long the Network/Studio/executives should make sure there are hotel rooms or trailers available for people to use so they don't have to drive home extremely tired. Anyway, there is a GoFundMe set up to raise money to pay for Rico's funeral service.
As for tonight's episode, I believe it's mostly about Fire Captain Robert "Bobby" Nash and his connection to guest character Amir. It's all connected to an apartment building fire that Bobby accidentally cause which not only killed his wife and children but also the death of over 100 people. Bobby has been dealing with the guilt of that fire ever since the first season. That is something that he has and most likely will ever forget. But I think Amir is going to force the matter and have Bobby truly deal with it.
As for the final two shows, Elsbeth and Station 19, I have been loving watching both shows. Like So Help Me Todd, Elsbeth is a fun and quirky mystery/procedural series that very much reminds me of the old Columbo TV series. Station 19 has not been disappointing all season, which is why it's truly sad that this series was cancelled. This final season should have gotten more promotion because it so deserves it. I don't want to think about this show ending so I'll just focus on tonight's episode.
