- School Spirits has been renewed by Paramount Plus for a second season. I was surprised by how good the first season was. Not only were the writers able to pull off an intriguing murder mystery that truly had me captivated the entire time. Which is rare but they also created some interesting characters. I really can’t wait to see what's going to happen next season.
I've really been enjoying the teen supernatural genre of shows and movies set in high school: Boo, Bitch (show - Netflix), Darby and the Dead (movie - Hulu), First Kill (show - Netflix), The Curse of Bridge Hollow (movie - Netflix) and Wednesday (show - Netflix). And now I'll add School Spirits to this ever growing list.
How did I not know about this show? It premiered back in March on Paramount+ and has eight episodes for the first season. It's a supernatural mystery that centers around Maddie trying to find out how she died. How could I not want to watch this?
