Review:

I have two ways of describing this: boring and predictable. This is one slow moving story with very forgettable characters.

The 7th Sword is set in a futuristic world, the story follows Daniel Cray a samurai who was biding his time working as a mercenary for hire until he could save up enough money get back to Earth. However, the caravan he was traveling with was attacked and only him and Aaron, a teenage boy survived.

After he passed out in the sand, they were captured and taken to a hidden village. While there Daniel was accused of being a spy for their enemy but as soon as the town was attacked, Cray was given the chance to help train some of the townspeople for the impending fight in exchange for his freedom and a way back to Earth.

Predictability ensues as they prepare and train and take the fight to the enemy. This was such a drag to read I'm surprised I even finished reading it.
