This story arc was set during the time Clark had lost his powers. I love this scene because Clark has no interest what so ever in monster truck rallies, he only went because Lois loves them. But what I love is the fact that Clark took a book with him. It was kind of him to attend the rally and awesome of Lois to just tell him to leave because he wasn't enjoying it. I think it's cool that Lois loves going to monster truck shows because it shows she doesn't have to be like everyone else, she's just being herself.
I can relate to Clark in these scenes because I'm forever wishing I had taken a book with me, when I start to get bored.
