Organizing experts would call this creative clutter (I can relate, I probably have more stuff on my desk than is necessary.) I wonder how Lois is able to find anything, just look at all of that stuff. Can you believe she has a cricket bat and a bikini top amongst all her stuff littering the floor.
During the eighth season Smallville episode "Hex", Lois' cluttered desk was shown in that episode. It wasn't as bad as this but it was still pretty cluttered.
