The weather is so nice today, I'm sitting outside reading my book. I'm also flipping through the September issue of Lucky magazine. I'm starting to think this magazine is no longer for me. It looks and feels too much like Vogue instead of Lucky. I like the fashion but I feel like the magazine has lost what made it unique and now feels like a clone of Vogue magazine.
Let's see over the weekend, I bought a new book: Torchwood: Twilight Streets. After watching Torchwood: Miracle Day last Sunday, I had rewatched the original series this past week. I forgot how much I used to love watching that show. Later today, BBCA is will be airing a marathon of season three of Torchwood: Children of Earth. I'll rewatch it another day, I didn't feel like watching it today. The weather is just too nice to sit inside.
Last week, I also started rewatching season three of Doctor Who. The tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) are still my favorite Doctor and Companion from the Doctor Who series.
(Captain Jack Harkness, The Doctor and Martha Jones from the third season finale of Doctor Who)
What else is going on? I watched some of the Scooby-Doo marathon yesterday and a little this morning. It's going until 8:00pm. Also, my sister is trying to talk me into reading the Twilight series. I told her I'll read it if she will read the Harry Potter series. She likes Harry Potter as much as I like Twilight (which is not very much) so I'll see how this goes. Most likely with neither of us reading either book series. But you never know.
Lastly, before I go back to reading my book, I haven't been on Twitter for some time. I don't know why, I like going on there but lately I just haven't had any desire to. Also, I still haven't seen the new Percy Jackson movie, I'm going to try to go next weekend. The trailer looks good, I just hope the movie will be.
Next week is the 8th Bout of Books read-a-thon. I haven't signed up yet but I will. I had fun with it last time, so I look forward to attempting it again.
Well, that's it for now.
I hope the rest of your weekend is good.
