Comic Book Wednesday: 12 books on my to read list

Ooh, I that I picked some good books to read for this week. I can't wait to read the Smallville Season 11 Special, the first issue of Damian: Son of Batman and the rest. Okay maybe not the Teen Titans Annual but my explanation is below.

So on that note, here is my Comic Book Wednesday list:

DC Comics

Book: Smallville Season 11 Special #3  $4.99

Description:

In the one-shot tale “Hollow,” newly digitized Tess Mercer is faced with the ultimate question: Can she set aside her obsession with getting revenge on her brother, Lex Luthor, to become the hero Metropolis’s protectors know she’s destined to become?

Book: Damian: Son of Batman #1

Description:

Damian Wayne, the son of Batman, has adopted the cape and cowl as his own…but what horrific events set this troubled hero on the path of his dark destiny? It’s a possible future that may never be in this epic miniseries written and drawn by one of Damian’s co-creators, Andy Kubert!
----

I hope this will be good and it's not just something created just to pander us Damian Wayne fans.  Especially since DC Comics and Grant Morrison know they made a huge mistake killing off such a popular character. I'm going to give this new series a shot, Damian is one of my favorite characters. I really hope this will be a good read.

Book: Aquaman Annual #1  $4.99

Description:

Aquaman must reunite with The Others to investigate whether or not their recently deceased member Vostok has returned from the dead. If he has, he is definitely not the same Vostok they remember…

Book: Nightwing Annual #1  $4.99

Description:

Robin and Batgirl grew up fighting side by side…but with Dick Grayson about to embark on a new crime fighting quest and Barbara Gordon no longer fighting under the Bat, is there anything left between them? Following the “Batgirl: Wanted” epic, this is the story of a twosome with nothing left to lose, fighting for the only thing they can: each other!

Book: Teen Titans Annual #2  $4.99

Description:

Leading into next month’s landmark issue #25, the Teen Titans continue their trip through time as the team must confront Jon Lane Kent, the Superboy of the future, who could one day wipe out the most powerful heroes on Earth. Can the Titan's Superboy defeat the man he was cloned from by Harvest?
-----

I can't believe I'm actually buying an issue of Teen Titans. Since I dropped the series, I had no more interest in reading this series but since it's basically a tie-in to the Superboy comic I guess I have to pick it up (not that I'm enthusiastic about it). I'm not even going to hope this will be a good read because most likely it won't. Why are they turning this into Superboy vs. Superboy Prime all over again and this time with bad writing.

Marvel

Book: Thor: Crown of Fools #1

Description:
