Review:

#1:

In the first story, Pinky Pie was preparing for a baking contest by trying to memorize all her recipes but she worried that she would forget them once the contest started. Meanwhile, Applejack was on her way to the baking contest but only to drop off a pie but due to a misunderstanding and a mistaken identity, she found herself on stage for the baking contest.

The contest showcased a lot of ponies with a wide range of cooking interest including one who really wanted to win so she could re-open a once popular restaurant in her town.

This was a funny story especially with Pinky Pie being her normal outrageous self.

#2:

The second story had the three members of The Cutie Mark Crusaders (Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom) trying yet again to figure out how to get their cutie marks. But after another failed attempt the three ponies asked the mischievous and unpredictable Discord for help.

However, despite all of Discord's help nothing seemed to help but with each magical attempt it was starting to wreck havoc on Equestria. And with Twilight and the rest of the ponies charging in to try to save the day however it took just a little bit of appreciation from The Cutie Mark Crusaders to save the day (even if they didn't know it).

#3:

In the third story, Spike went to Canterlot to see if Princess Celestia could help him find a birthday gift for Twilight. He wanted to get Twilight a new telescope. But when the telescope maker showed up he told Spike he was out of lenses and the only place to get them was at the Crystal Mountain which was in a treacherous area.

Seeing how dejected poor little Spike was, Princess Celestia said she would go with him to retrieve the lenses. On their adventure they dealt with rock lobsters who captured them. After an ingenious plan for escape by Spike, the duo were soon on their way to the Crystal Mountain.

After getting the lenses, Spike and Princess Celestia soon had to deal with a erupting volcano before they could make it back to the palace.

This was a cute story because not only did Spike finally get to be an adventurer (the Princess too) the two were able to get to know a little bit more about each other and become good friends.

#4:

In the last story, Princess Twilight plans to spend time with her brother Prince Shining Armor at the Crystal Empire but when she arrived at the palace her brother was busy with meeting and duties that she didn't thin they would have any time together.

The meetings weren't the only thing holding her brother's attention it was the rumors of a ghost haunting the palace. The entire staff was scared but the Prince doesn't believe in any of the ghost rumors. But Twilight with some insistence from the staff decided to go investigate the ghost. But at the same time, her brother was also looking into the ghost. The two ended up joining up to solve the mystery of the ghost. Which turned out to be an interesting adventure for the siblings.

I liked all stories because they were cute and funny and last one had a pretty good mystery. My Little Pony is a delightful and energetic cartoon series and I think fans of the cartoon will love this comic book series as well.
