Review:
This was so boring and I did not like anything about it. The story was slow moving and I didn't like the art style which did not go with the story.
I don't know why this was so boring but a story about The Shadow set during modern times should have been exciting but it was not. The writing was so stiff and unmoving and coupled with boring art makes this one really boring book. Oh and the characters were all so forgettable not one of them stood out including The Shadow.
The book focused on The Shadow returning after several decades in a self-imposed state of rejuvenation by posing as his own grandson and returning to fighting crime. He believes one of his old enemies is behind everything.
When The Shadow wasn't out there trying to fight crime he was sitting around with his team trying to figure out who was behind the huge resurgence of crime in the city. I thought his team was useless because they didn't really do anything.
The Shadow Now could not keep my attention and I was extremely bored with this. This was so disappointing.
