Review:
This is a pretty good adaptation of Finding Nemo, reading this felt like the author was able to capture all the emotions and the action and adventure from the movie.
After a terrible tragedy took the life of his wife and all except one of his children, Marlin promised to never let any harm come to his only child Nemo. On what should have been an exciting first day of school for Nemo, his father's overprotectiveness made Nemo so upset he swam off in anger. Swimming too close to a boat allowed Nemo to be captured by a diver.
Marlin went after the boat but it was too fast and it got away but that wasn't going to stop him from trying to get Nemo back. Along for the journey was a fish named Dory. She had a problem with her short term memory making it hard for her to remember just about everything.
Marlin and Dory had an amazinge adventure dodging not so reformed vegetarian sharks, evading an anglerfish, jellyfish and riding with turtles. Meanwhile, Nemo was stuck in a aquarium at a dentist's office but he wasn't alone there were other fish and sea creatures in the tank. They were going to help Nemo escape before he becomes another casualty of the dentist's niece Darla who although adorable is a little terror especially to fish.
Can father and son reunite? Even if you have seen the movie, this story still has you wondering just that. This has all the energy of the movie and since this is geared towards kids it does includes a reference guide to the characters in the movie before the story begins.
This manga version of Finding Nemo is a delightful read that will have you rooting for the characters.
