Comic Book News #14: New Series: Batwoman, Miss America and more

Okay, 2017 is shaping up to be really interesting with so many new books. Here are a few to keep on your radar for next year:

- Batwoman is returning with a new series in 2017. It will be co-written by Marguerite Bennett and James Tynion IV with illustrations by Steve Epting. According to reports, the new series will take place after a two part issue of Detective Comics with Batwoman getting a one-shot issue in February afterward the series will begin in March.

- Dynamite Comics will be publishing a new Charmed comics in 2017. I'm not sure if the publisher will be continuing from Zenescope's two season run or it will be something entirely different. So far no new information has been released.

- Get ready for it, Batman '66 will meet Wonder Woman '77 in a miniseries that will start in January. I can not wait to read this. The miniseries will be co-written by Marc Andreyko and Jeff Parker.

- Miss America is finally getting her own comic book series, Marvel will published the series which will be titled America in 2017. So far no information about who will be writing and illustrating the series has been released but some of the covers will be created by Jamie McKelvie with color by Matt Wilson.
