It was fun putting together this Fashion Meets Comics post because if you watch Gotham, fashion is not a top priority for Selina Kyle. Most of the time it looks like she just threw something on and it just happens to look great. Her main focus is staying safe while also trying to score an ultimate find.
Selina may not be ready to don her future alter ego's signature catsuit but she does have a signature style. Her wardrobe is filled with edgy clothes in black and gray and from time to time is sprinkled with rare pops of color. It doesn't matter if she's hanging in the shadows or scaling over rooftops, her wardrobe must do it's job of keeping her from being seen.
I took that into consideration when creating these two outfits for the notorious thief, the first is a take on her signature look with everything in black. I incorporated a lot of layering into this look with a jacket, hoodie and t-shirt over a pair of skinny jeans and a great pair of boots.
While the second outfit of a high performance top, jogging pants and gym shoes is more of a lounging around look yet still functional in case she needs to make a quick getaway.
