Preview: Big Moose one-shot (Archie Comics)

As a longtime Archie Comics fan, I'm happy that Moose Mason is getting a one-shot titled Big Moose one-shot. The book priced at $4.99 will be available on Wednesday, April 26th. It will feature three stories written respectively by Sean Ryan, Ryan Cady and Gorf with illustrations by Thomas Pitilli, Cory Smith and Ryan Jampole. And color by Matt Herms, Glenn Whitmore and Kelly Fitzpatrick with letters by Jack Morelli.

Last February, I wrote in a post "Five Archie Comics Characters I Wish Had Their Own Comic Book Series", that an ongoing series would be a great way to show Moose is more than just a big dumb jock. But that doesn't mean I don't love Moose the way he is, I just wanted them to add a bit more character development. From looking at the previews, I like what I've seen but I hope Midge Klump will appear in all the stories and not only in just a few scenes.

I also hope that if this one-shot sells well that it will lead to an ongoing series. Here are all the covers for the issue followed by the preview.
