I never understood why if there is natural chemistry between characters why the creative team doesn't go with it. Because on the Supergirl TV series, Kara definitely has more chemistry with Lena than she does with Mon-El.
It made no sense for the writers to continue the relationship between Kara and Mon-El when there was nothing there. Their romance felt forced. However, there is something there between Kara and Lena but nothing ever developed pass friendship. Perhaps in the third season the creative team will take a chance and pair these two up but I doubt it will happen.
