My One Issue with the Wonder Woman Movie

I love watching the Wonder Woman movie it's still absolutely phenomenal and I love how it made new fans of both Diana and Steve Trevor. There is only one problem I have with the movie and that is the terrible New 52 origin of Diana being the daughter of Zeus was used. That should have never been used, especially not in Wonder Woman's first big screen movie.

I never understood why during the New 52 it was okay to change Wonder Woman's origin but pretty much leave Batman or Superman's intact. I know I wrote about this before but it was on my mind again after I rewatched the movie earlier today. I always thought Wonder Woman's original origin story of her being crafted from clay made her unique instead of being another one of Zeus' many children.

Even though I can overlook that part of the story in the first movie, I do hope that in the second movie Wonder Woman 1984, it will be suggested that perhaps Ares lied to her and that she is in fact not a child of Zeus. Even if it's not corrected, I'm really looking forward to seeing the sequel.
