Lucy Liu to be Honored with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

I'm so excited to hear that actress and director Lucy Liu will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. From her breakout role as Ling Woo on the Ally McBeal TV series to her amazing role as Dr. Joan Watson on the Elementary TV series, she has been one of my favorite actors for a long time and it's great to see her being honored. I so adore her character Silvermist, who she voiced for all the Tinker Bell animated movies and not to mention her butt-kicking role as Alex in the Charlie's Angels movies.

According to reports, the ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 1st at the corner of Hollywood and Vine with Lucy being inducted by her friends Rhea Perlman and Demi Moore as she receives the 2,662nd star. Her star will be placed next to legendary actress Anna May Wong, the first Chinese American actress to appear in a Hollywood film.

I know not everyone gets the recognition they deserve but it's really good to see when it does happen. Congratulations Lucy Liu, you deserve it.
