Nesting: Cloud City Penthouse Living Room (Star Wars)

At first glance, all you see is the standout futuristic style of the living room in the Cloud City penthouse apartment. It's very eye-catching with a decorative glass ceiling, molded walls and beautiful furnishings that gives the room a perfect out of this world feel. As the Baron Administrator of Cloud City, I wonder if Lando Calrissian's impeccable sense of style was taken into consideration in the designing of Cloud City and this luxurious penthouse.

The living room has a sophisticated and minimalist feel with the furniture consisting of white chairs and round ottomans, that look surprisingly comfortable, accompanied by curved glass tables. The furniture is surrounding a large art installation which I wouldn't be surprised if it doubles as a light as well.

I'm sure under different circumstances, if Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca and C-3PO had journeyed to Bespin, this Cloud City apartment would have been a great place to stay at. However their situation didn't really allow for much relaxation.

Sometimes an all white interior can give off an uninviting feel, however this space is warm and inviting. Which I would say is due to being well lit and airy. Although I would add a touch of greenery with a few lush and leafy plants placed around the room to add a pop of color.

This is a posh living room that's filled with so many interesting pieces but you don't have to wait for the future to get a Cloud City inspired style. An interesting idea would be to turn a small space or area into a Cloud City reading nook. 

Here are two pieces that will get you started in creating a your own stylish galactic space. Complete the look with a glass coffee table, side table or cart for a place to store your books. Don't forget a white or clear lamp, white cozy throw. You could even add a unique piece of artwork for style.
