Happy New Year's Eve!

In the past, there would have been numerous ways for us to ring in the new year but this time we have to be a little more creative when celebrating at home. Especially if you're celebrating alone. Well, I have a few suggestions if you're looking for something to do.

Whether you're celebrating alone or with the people you live with (family, roommates or friends), why not make an amazing meal complete with dessert and then have a movie or TV show marathon? And if you live alone, you can watch whatever you want while ringing in the new year. For some suggestions on what you could watch here is my Geeky List from last year. Oh and don't forget the snacks.

You could also spend a quiet evening reading, it could be a book you're currently reading or a new one you just bought. You could even play a little music. Whatever you plan to read, just make sure it's something that interest you and again don't forget the snacks.

Another suggestion is to have a movie and board game night. Instead of board games, if you have a lot of gingerbread or a gingerbread kit maybe have fun making a new year's inspired treat.

However you plan on celebrating New Year's Eve at home, I just hope you have a good time.
