Happy 30th Anniversary, Disney's Beauty and the Beast Animated Movie!

There are a lot big pop culture anniversaries this month and the latest is the 30th Anniversary of Disney's Beauty and the Beast animated movie. A tale as old as time, I absolutely love this movie. The classic film, which was released on this day in 1991, follows as Belle who is one of the most beloved fictional bookworms is living in a small town where the townspeople thinks she's odd. So what if Belle always has her nose in a book and dreams of a more fulfilling life, that shouldn't make her odd. So between the overly invested townspeople, she has to deal with Gaston constantly harassing her to be his wife. Who wouldn't dream of a more interesting life than the one she has.

I guess the old saying of be careful what you wish for because you just might get it, is true. Belle's life would take an interesting turn after her father was captured by the Beast. Exchanging herself for her father's freedom, Belle would be trapped in an enchanted castled filled with unfortunately cursed yet kind people who were transformed into talking inanimate objects. All thanks to a horrid prince turned Beast who was the cause of the curse but is Belle the one who will break it.

This movie is so amazing and every song is perfectly performed and was showcased by equally visually stunning animation. It's no wonder why this film is a fan favorite and I hope it continues to be, Happy 30th Anniversary, Beauty and the Beast!
